A complete bathroom remodel may be a coveted project that’s not in the financial cards… yet. In the meantime, there are plenty of ways to decorate a bathroom for minimal cost. Easy changes of colors and fixtures can make a more attractive and comfortable bathroom.
Start by organizing the counters and shelves in your bathroom. Consider what needs to be out and what should be kept in the medicine cabinet. If you plan to keep essentials, such as hand soap, toothbrushes and cotton swabs on the countertop, find matching accessories to store them in.
Replace the faucet. Although it’s not a full-scale sink remodel, a new faucet can dress up the bathroom. Switch from chrome to porcelain or brushed metal and find and install towel racks and hooks to match the new tone.
Change colors with new accessories. A wallpaper border with matching rugs and hand towels can pull together the look of the bathroom with minimal effort. Choose items in shades that complement the existing paint color. Add small shelves to hold small, framed art that fits the theme of your new décor.
This low-cost alternative to a complete overhaul is a simple way to redecorate your bathroom in an afternoon. When you plan for the full remodel, try to integrate these new pieces in the design.

I added a couple shelves to my bathroom and put big seashells on them… Much better than bare walls!
